A ‘post it’ investigation planner can provide a record of the group’s thinking. Parts of the planner can be photographed if needed for evidence of a group’s understanding of science investigation planning. 

There are many versions of planning boards. They mostly support comparative and fair testing-type enquiries. An example fair test planning board can be downloaded below.
