With Covid-19 partial school closures, some children are in school and some are learning remotely at home. When the topic involves specialist equipment like magnets, the children in school made a video to support their peers at home.  The pupil at school demonstrated their investigation in an instructional video: ‘Does the shape and type of magnet effect how strong it is?’ Children learning at home could watch the video to see how they could test magnet strength (by measuring the attraction distance between the magnet and the steel paper clip). They could then try out the investigation for themselves to test their fridge magnets etc, or they could record the data from the video if they did not have access to any magnets.
