Teachers are using their assessment, supported by the PLAN matrices and examples of work, to inform end of year reports, with judgements of each child’s current attainment. Target areas are identified by the tracking system, which is currently being trialled and links to the planning matrices. This ensures that areas for consolidation are communicated to inform future provision, to enable, as well as evidence, the closing of gaps.
